About Judy Wyle

Yoga2“Whether teaching a yoga class, conducting a private session, or giving an Ayurvedic treatment, Judy is consistently "just what the doctor ordered." She is completely focused, full of compassion, and totally supportive of her client/patient. I know because I have been there for each of those experiences and have benefited greatly over the years.”

Judy Wyle began studying yoga in New York City in 1968. After completing her yoga teacher training in 1989 at the Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health, she returned to her hometown of Saratoga Springs and established the Joy of Yoga.

Judy is also a certified Yoga of the Heart instructor for cardiac patients and was trained by Nischala Devi, creator and director of the Stress Management division of the Dr. Dean Ornish Program for Reversing Heart Disease.

Judy has also been in practice as a Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapist since 1992.

In the Kripalu tradition of hatha yoga, Judy strives to impart a loving relationship to oneself and others, which is the essence of all yoga as a path of liberation from worldly suffering. This gentle and emphatic instruction seeks to stretch and strengthen the body and align the mind with the wholesome spirit of loving kindness and community. Classes are congenial and comprehensive.

Judy received her certificate as an Ayurvedic Consultant in March of 2008, after completing an intensive 2 year training at the Kripalu School of Ayurveda in Lenox, Massachusetts. She studied there with some of the most renowned Ayurvedic doctors and practitioners from this country and India.
